The Ultimate Platform

I am standing in front of a Southern California lecture hall filled with engineers, scholars, business leaders and artists. The air is buzzing with enthusiasm and anticipation.

This evening, I have been asked to give a brief lecture on the role of emotion and engagement in the development of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) solutions. Taking my place at the front of the room, I pause for a moment.

Looking into the audience, I ask a question.

“What is the most important platform we are developing for?”

It’s a trick question.
